Mechanisms for examining the work of trainees & preventing fraud & impersonation

The mechanisms used to verify the identity of the learner and ensure their attendance and regularity in the e-learning environment rely on several methods, including the following:

  • Direct registration of learners' attendance in virtual classrooms:
Learners are allowed to join virtual classrooms after logging in using their username and password. Then their attendance is recorded directly through the e-learning platform.

  • Camera activation:
The learner's device camera is turned on to ensure their presence in front of the screen during the virtual session.

  • Use of temporary secret codes:
The use of temporary secret codes (OTP) as an additional mechanism to verify the learner's identity when logging into the e-learning platform, where a temporary secret code is sent to the learner's to prove their identity and confirm their attendance.

  •  Use of real names in virtual classrooms:
After verifying the learner's identity at the beginning of each virtual session, they are allowed to complete their attendance by the trainer.

The list of procedures that can be taken to examine the learners' work and ensure its integrity include several points, including:

  • Verification of the sources used:
Verifying the sources that the learner used in preparing the work presented and ensuring their accuracy and suitability for the work's subject.

  • Evaluation of performance and results:
Evaluating the learner's performance quality and the results achieved in the presented tasks based on specific standards and criteria.

  • Assigning new tasks:
Assigning new tasks to learners to evaluate their understanding of the training material and their abilities to produce new and innovative work.

  • Identification and monitoring of group tasks:
In the case of group tasks, each learner's role is identified and monitored in the task to ensure that work is not repeated or that they are not benefiting from their colleagues' work in the task.
